Team High Rev

Mission Statement

Team High Rev was established May 15, 2009 to connect and promote the passion of Austin area high revving vehicle enthusiasts through the involvement in bi-weekly team meetings, the team chat forums and websites, car shows, car meets, social gatherings, community service events, and opportunities to exchange vehicle improvement ideas.

Secondary Mission

Team High Rev, in the typical Austinite style, emphasizes giving back to the community through a broad community service program, in which the team volunteers at events supporting local non-profit organizations and gives monetary donations, when funds are available.

Team Criteria

The team accepts all high revving motors, despite the make and model. It is not exclusive to any specific type or brand of vehicle. However, we will not accept any vehicle that will discredit the professionalism and integrity of the team.

Finances

Team High Rev has established a team checking account at the First National Bank.
The checking account is opened in two non-partisan party’s names and the team treasurer maintains the account. All account activity is open to full disclosure to any team member. Sanitized bank statements may be requested through the team treasurer. The team treasurer will formally disclose account activity at the bi-weekly team meetings.

Quarterly dues of $20.00 US dollars are collected no later than the 15th of every first month of each quarter (October, January, April, and May) in anticipation of team emergencies and additional team expenses. Only when the expenditure of these funds benefits the team as a whole, will the team treasurer approve the use of this account’s monies.

In addition to quarterly dues, all team members deposit funds prior to any official team scheduled event to ensure that all team members have adequate funds to participate in the events. These monies are nonrefundable; however, if a member cannot attend a scheduled event his/her monies will be reserved in the team account and credited to the next event he/she is available to attend.
