In site news, the photo gallery should be up and running (finally) sometime this weekend now that I’ve received a bunch of pictures from White Knight. Once that’s complete, the next step will be to set up the individual member profiles. If anyone has any team photos or individual car photos they’d like on the site, send them to Five Element Ninja ASAP.
Also, as most of you know, last night was the last meeting of the year, so if any of you still owe dues or any other fees, please get in touch with White Knight/Emily ASAP to get that resolved. We’re coming up on the next quarter, which means quarterly dues are doing to be due soon. We need everyone’s cooperation in getting fees paid on time. If we want to achieve our goal of hosting our own car show next year, we’re going to need money, and dues are our primary source of funds.
This is just a quick update that I’ve added a new section to the site called Media, which contains two sections: Photos and Videos. The videos section currently has the video with us at Texas Heat Wave and the video of us at State Meet. The Photos section does not have anything in it yet, but probably within the next week or so I’ll be uploading all the pictures I have. I’m still trying to find the best way to organize the Photos and Videos section, so don’t be surprised if they change a lot in the next week. If anyone has any photos you’d like to add, please contact me before our next meeting so we can work out a way for you to get them to me. I might just try and set up the site so you can upload them yourself, if I can figure out how to set the permissions properly.
Next on the site agenda after getting all the photos processed and uploaded is to set up the individual member pages. I haven’t decided on a good format for the member pages yet, but what I’m thinking is each one will have 1 – 3 glamor shots of your car, member info such as name, car info, and mods list, then an album of photos of you and your car. If I can figure it out, I’ll set it up so you can update it yourself, but that probably won’t happen right away, so in the beginning I’ll probably have to do each of yours myself. I’ll let you all know when it’s time for that though.
The annual 8thCivic.com Texas State Meet has come and gone. While the meet itself may not have met everyone’s expectations, I think everyone will agree the road trip there and back was a blast, and overall it was a great weekend.
Special thanks go out to Clinton and his mom for allowing us to stay at her house for the weekend. It sure saved us a lot of money and trouble by not having to deal with getting hotel rooms. Thanks a bunch!
Once the gallery is set up and working properly on here, I’ll upload some pics I took from the meet and past shows and you guys can add your own as well. In the meantime, there are some great photos by asdf -such as the one above- from the 8thCivic.com forums over on the Texas State Meet Pics thread. There are lots of nice photos, including some shots of Team High Rev. Check ‘em out

Welcome to the launch of TeamHighRev.com, home of Team High Rev. There is still much work to be done here, so bear with us as we get this site going. If you’ve never heard of Team High Rev, check out the About page for a brief introduction on the team.
As mentioned, this site is still a work in progress, so the next steps are to set up individual member pages, get a good photo gallery set up, find a better way to integrate the forums, and eventually create a custom design for the site. All in good time. Thanks for visiting!
